Our vast experience in delivering all essential services under extreme conditions, mean we can manage your camp perfectly, coordinating all aspects of the day to day operation. This could also mean managing subcontractors and in fact any other body that is either on site permanently or periodically. This ‘client interface’ is the key to the smooth running of a facility.
To further enhance our control we use the latest Camp Management software to keep a track of people and resources in all of our camps. This gives us a great insight into the camp operation, insights we can quickly share without clients.

A site that is not clean can leave a very bad impression on both residents and visitors, so we make sure that whenever we are contracted to provide cleaning services, all of our staff work to the very highest standards and follow a strict plan of cleaning protocols.

CAMP DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
EVERYTHING IN PLACE AND ON TIME READY TO WORK
Our vast experience in camp management also allows us to offer a complete turnkey operation for your site that includes complete design, supply and build of the camp itself. Working with our specialist construction partners we can get you up and running in the world’s most remote locations and then support that camp installation at every stage of the project.
That project could be a short-term tented camp for as few as 20 people as part of a seismic survey, or 10,000 person pre-fabricated facility as the core of a long term mining project. We are one of the only companies in the world that can offer such diverse camps and we do this through long standing strategic alliances with the very best suppliers.

AMBASSADORS
Each of our local business units will assign a ‘Community First’ Ambassador. The primary role of the Ambassador will be to ensure that each of our Community based
initiatives are being applied to our operations and to act as a liaison to the local population. The Ambassador will also be responsible for:
Identifying local projects in which RSS can get involved
Monitoring and mentoring people who are undergoing training and development courses
Reporting progress to MIMSHACK’s central Community Development Team.
MINING
WE KNOW MINING ACTIVITY NEEDS QUALITY SUPPORT SERVICES AND THAT’S WHERE RSS EXCEL.
We can get a new exploration site up and running very quickly and then service that facility for a specified period. But as we know, the mining exploration business is a fluid one and inevitably plans change. Our flexibility allows us to react to changes in your requirements quickly and with little fuss.
Needs will definitely change when the exploration ends, a site is established and the production phase begins. Sites will invariably triple or quadruple in size and scope. New people, new equipment and new requirements mean new challenges for us, but not new problems for our clients.
We handle every aspect of a mining camps change of use, from a short term, low occupancy camp, to long term, high occupancy camp. Accommodation will probably change, from tents to pre-fabricated housing. You’ll need bigger kitchens and more supplies. There will be a bigger call on local resources and this may require new government permits. More people coming and going means more transport logistics and more people also means more to keep on top of. We will do it all, so all our clients need to concentrate on, is getting out of the ground what they came for.
